Originally, Bulgarian broadcaster BNT announced that the two semifinals would be on December 12th and 14th followed by a January 28th final. This has all changed as the Bulgarian broadcaster has pushed back several of the dates.
The two semifinals will now take place during January 2012, with the Grand Final to be held in February 2012. The exact dates have not been decided yet.
BNT has also announced that the day after the submission period ends, on November 12th, the Academy will begin their job in reviewing the songs. From November 23rd until November 24th, the songs will be performed live at BNT’s television studios and the semifinal entries will be decided during the two day auditions. The next day, on November 25th, BNT will announce the semifinalists of 2012.
