Azeri media report that the song for Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest will be composed by the ‘dream team’ Philip Kirkorov, who represented Russia in 1995, choreographer and creative director Ilias Kokotos and composer Dimitris Kontopoulos. Diana Hajiyeva will represent Azerbaijan at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev. Broadcaster Ictimai has confirmed the news on their website. Last year, Dihaj was a backing vocalist for Samra at the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, performing backstage in Stockholm for the song Miracle.
