Laura Rizzotto and Lauris Valters are the last two qualifiers for the final of Supernova 2018 in Latvia. They will join five other candidates in the final next week, to determine who will sing for Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
In a dramatic turn of events, it was announced by the Latvian Broadcaster, LTV, that Markus Riva will be qualifying to the final of Supernova after all.
2018 did not become the year of Markus Riva. He once again tried to represent Latvia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 but did not make it to the final of Supernova. Riva was eliminated after the second semi final on Saturday.
Edgars Kreilis has won the first heat of Supernova in Latvia. In a rather mediocre first show, the youngster gave a solid performance of his modern pop song “Younger Days”. This was enough to sail into the next round.
