After five semi-finals and a grand final this Sunday, The Humans have won Selecția Națională 2018. With the song ‘Goodbye’ they will now go to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 later this year.
Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen no less than five semi finals in Romania and 59 songs in Selecția Națională 2018. 15 songs made it to the final of next Sunday. We will now look ahead to that show.
Romania has completed the semi final stage of Selecția Națională 2018. The fifth semi final gave us the last three qualifiers for the final of next week. These qualifiers are: Dora Găitanovici, Teodora Dinu and The Humans.
Romania continues their search for the act for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. In semi final 4, Claudia Andas, Tiri and Feli qualified for the final of Selecția Națională 2018.
Erminio Sinni & Tiziana Camelin has won the third semi final of Selecția Națională 2018 in Romania and has qualified for the final on the 25th of February. The two other qualifiers are Xandra and VYROS.
MIHAI has qualified for the final in Romania after the second semi final of Selecția Națională. In 2006 he represented Romania in Athens with ‘Tornero’, and finished in fourth place.
Alex Florea has been eliminated after the first semi final of Selecția Națională in Romania. Last year he won the show and represented Romania in Kiev with ‘Yodel It!’, together with Ilinca.
Alex Florea, who represented Romania at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, will try to go to the contest again in 2018. He takes part in the upcoming preselection. Another former Eurovision-artist on the list is Mihai (ESC2006).
Romania will pick their act for the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 in the style of the Swedish preselection show format Melodifestivalen. There will be five qualification shows and one grand final. Each show will be hosted in a different city in Romania.
