The condition of Mikolas Josefs back is improving. Czech Republic’s official Eurovision channel released this news moments ago. They have not cancelled their rehearsal for tomorrow just yet.
Mikolas Josef will perform in the first semi final no matter what. The Czech singer wrote this on his Instagram last night. Despite his back problems, doctors are looking to see if his performance can go on as planned.

Mikolas Josef will sing for the Czech Republic at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 with the song ‘Lie to Me’. Broadcaster CT confirmed him as the winner of the national final, which was held on the internet in stead of television.
Ten past Eurovision participants have been revealed by Ceska Televize as the members of the International Jury for the Czech selection process. One of these ten members is Dami Im, the Australian superstar who reached the second place at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2016.
The first national final in many years in the Czech Republic, Eurovision Song CZ, will be entirely held online. There is no live television broadcast with the performances of the six artists, that are revealed this Monday, the 9th of January.
In January 2018, the Czech Republic will hold a national final for the first time in ten years. Six songs will be performed and a public vote will decide who will go to Lisbon for the at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018.
