Samanta Tīna has won the Latvian national selection, Supernova 2020 and as a result, will be the twenty-first Eurovision representative for Latvia. Markus Riva is on the shortlist again for the Latvian preselection for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2020. He is one of the 26 hopefuls, a list that will be narrowed down to 8 by a jury panel for the actual final show.

Markus Riva, who for the sixth time attempts to represent Latvia in Eurovision, has qualified for the final of Supernova 2019 today in Riga. His pop song, “You make me so crazy”, was one of the better performances of the second semi-final.
Tonight, the first semi final of Supernova 2019 took place in Riga. Eight artists competed for four places in the final, which will be held February 16th. One of the qualifiers is Edgars Kreilis, an upcoming star in Latvia.
