The EBU wants young artists to evolve from Junior Eurovision to the adult Eurovision Song Contest. This year, Destiny from Malta and Stefania from Greece are living that dream. “We have learned a lot from Junior Eurovision.”

One person with the Icelandic delegation has tested positive during the scheduled routine Covid-19 testing procedures. The EBU confirms this news, however has not confirmed which member of the delegation tested positive.

Destiny Chukunyere has premiered her new single ‘Je Me Casse’, which will be the Maltese entry for the Eurovision Song Contest 2021. Malta already stated early in the season that they were going to keep Destiny as their singer for the contest in Rotterdam.

We may not get to see our 2020 favourites take to the stage, but that doesn’t mean we can’t reminisce on our Eurovision favourites. This series is aimed to discover the team’s favourite entries from the 21st century, from 2001 to 2019.

A few years after her huge victory in JESC 2015, Destiny Chukunyere seemed ready for the real thing. She came through X Factor in Malta to win the ticket to Rotterdam, and next year she will finally get there!

After winning the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, Destiny Chukunyere now hopes to also win the adult version of the contest. The song that she will sing for Malta in Rotterdam is called ‘All Of My Love’.

Destiny Chukunyere has won the final of X Factor Malta and will now respresent her country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2020 in Rotterdam. The song for the former winner of Junior Eurovision will be announced later on in the season.

The fourth live show of the second season of X Factor Malta has now taken place, where two of the acts have now been eliminated. The 6 finalists performed songs that represented the theme ‘Big Band’ and ‘Jukebox’ with two songs performed by each act.
