The acts in the Moldovan national final have been selected after a mammoth audition process. TRM held the audition process to narrow down the number of acts that submitted songs to represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest in Tel Aviv. 

This first episode of the Aftermath of the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 is about Moldova, which finished in tenth place in Lisbon. DoReDoS mostly thanked their result to their 115 points in the televote, where they finished in eighth place.

Moldova will be represented by DoReDos at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. The group will perform the song ‘My Lucky Day’, the winning entry at O melodie pentru Europa 2018.

TRM, the state broadcaster in Moldova, has revealed the sixteen finalists for the national final on the 24th of Febuary. The scheduled semi final on the 22nd of February has been cancelled.

There are 28 artists left on the shortlist in Moldova. These acts will perform their songs in an audition round, and 16 of them will advance to the semi final of „O Melodie Pentru Europa“.

In our aftermath of the Eurovision Song Contest we have reached the top 3 of the contest in Kiev. And Moldova booked a podium place for the first time in their history. Something that gave Sunstroke Project an “Order of Honor” in their country.

The group SunStroke Project will represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, making their comeback after taking part in 2010 as well. Their song ‘Hey Mamma’ was the winning entry in O Melodie Pentru Europa this Saturday.
