Romania has chosen Ester Peony during the conclusion of Selecția Națională 2019 and will represent Romania with the entry “On A Sunday”. Peony beat Laura Bretan and Bella Santiago to claim the right to be the Romanian representative in Tel Aviv.
TVR will host the final of Selecția Națională 2019 tonight which will decide the Romanian entry for Eurovision 2019. The line-up for the final Selectia Nationala in Romania has been determined. The second semi final gave us the last six qualifiers: Olivier Kaye, Aldo Blaga, Letitia Moiescu & Sensibil Balkan, Laura Bretan, Ester Peony and Linda Teodosiu.

After five semi-finals and a grand final this Sunday, The Humans have won Selecția Națională 2018. With the song ‘Goodbye’ they will now go to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018 later this year.
Over the last couple of weeks, we have seen no less than five semi finals in Romania and 59 songs in Selecția Națională 2018. 15 songs made it to the final of next Sunday. We will now look ahead to that show.
