The second semifinal of Melodifestivalen kicks off in the Swedish city of Gothenburg. Tonight’s lineup include many familiar faces for the Melfest crowd.
Robin Bengtsson joins The Mamas in the final at Friends Arena in Stockholm next month. Youngster Felix Sandman missed out on a direct ticket, but will get another chance in Andra Chansen. Tonight’s semifinal was the first stage of Sweden’s selection process.
Sweden’s national selection kicks off tonight with the first semifinal in Linköping. Tonight’s artists include Robin Bengtsson, who represented Sweden in Kiev 2017.
Late last year, the Melodifestivalen 2020 line-up was announced, and now, the running order for each semi-final has been revealed. A total of 28 artists will compete, with 7 artists competing in each of the four semi-finals.
Former Eurovision participants Robin Bengtsson and Anna Bergendahl are taking part in Melodifestival again in 2020. Swedish broadcaster SVT has published the line-up for Melfest 2020 and it includes a lot of big names and returning artists.
Recently the dates and host cities for Sweden’s national selection Melodifestivalen were revealed, as well as the first participant of the line-up and now we know the hosts of the show.
