On Friday October 7th, the European Broadcasting Union announced that Liverpool has been selected to host the Eurovision Song Contest 2023. The semi finals will take place on 9 and 11 May, while the Grand Final will be held on May 13.
The United Kingdom will likely host Eurovision 2023. Given the ongoing war in Ukraine, it is impossible for the winning broadcaster UA:PBC to host the contest. Therefore, the EBU has confirmed that it will continue talks with BBC.
