The chances of Turkey returning to the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014 are slim. TRT-manager Ibrahim Sahin told the Turkish newspaper Radikal that he is only willing to make a comeback if the EBU changes the voting system.
Conchita Wurst has been internally chosen to represent Austria in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014 in Copenhagen. Conchita Wurst, whose real name is Tom Neuwirth, has already participated in the 2012 national final, where he came second. The song is yet to be chosen.
Copenhagen has been chosen as host city of the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest, Danish public broadcaster DR announced this morning. The event will be held at the B&W Hallerne at the Refshaleøen, under the slogan ‘Join Us’.
