Ukrainian broadcaster NTU has provided more details about their preparations for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The host city will be selected by August 1st, and the contest might take place one week earlier than previously communicated.

Poland: “Regional qualifying rounds for 2017”

Polish broadcaster TVP will use a new system to pick their entry for the Eurovision Song Contest next year. The candidates for a national final will be chosen through several regional qualifying rounds, states the portal Wirtualnemedia.pl.

Before the end of this summer, Ukrainian broadcaster NTU will announce in which city they will host the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. The winning broadcaster in Stockholm revealed this during a press conference, in which they already hinted towards their capital Kiev.

Eurovision 2017: Preliminary dates are 16, 18 and 20th of May

The EBU has announced the preliminary dates for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest: The First Semi-Final will take place on 16 May, the Second Semi-Final on 18 May, and the Grand Final on 20 May, 2017.
