Cyprus has become the first country to announce its act for the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest. Hovig Demirjian will represent Cyprus in Kiev with a song written by the experienced Swedish composer Thomas G:son.
Cypriotic broadcaster CyBC will announce their artist for the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 this Friday, the 21st of October. This has been confirmed by Klitos Klitou, employee of the broadcaster, on Twitter.
Cyprus has its Junior Song for Malta 2016. Earlier Cyprus Broadcasting Corporation (CyBC) had announced that 13-year-old George Michaelides will represent Cyprus with the song “Dance Floor” on 20 November in Valletta. A few hours ago the song itself was released along with the official video clip.
