The group SunStroke Project will represent Moldova at the Eurovision Song Contest 2017, making their comeback after taking part in 2010 as well. Their song ‘Hey Mamma’ was the winning entry in O Melodie Pentru Europa this Saturday.
Eight candidates in Moldova will battle for a ticket to the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 in Kiev this night. In the line-up we see SunStroke Project as one of the biggest contenders to win O Melodie Pentru Europa.
SunStroke Project reached the final of Moldova’s national selection process ‘O Melodi Pentru Europa’. The act, that represented the country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2010, was among the top eight acts of the semi final on Friday.
The 14 acts that will take part in the national final in Moldova have been announced. Sunstroke Project (ESC 2011) are in the line-up. UPD: Constantin Cobilean has been disqualified and Irina Kit withdraws.
