Here you can find all the information for Croatia at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Belarus will be represented by Franka Batelić and the song ‘Crazy’.
In February, Croatian broadcaster HRT made an internal selection and decided to send Franka Batelić to the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. She previously tried to represent Croatia in 2009, and will now sing the song ‘Crazy’ in Lisbon.
In that year, Franka Batelić finished in seventh place with the song “Pjesma za kraj” at Dora, the national final for Eurovision 2009. Her rise to fame began two years before, when she won the talent show Showtime, in which Jacques Houdek was one of the judges.
Batelić is in a relationship with Croatian football player Vedran Ćorluka and is an advocate of LGBT rights. She took a break from the music industry a couple of years ago, but made her comeback in November 2017. Perhaps already knowing that the big Eurovision stage was blooming for her a couple of years later.
Croatia takes part in the second half of the first semi final on the 8th of May 2018.
