Daily Coffee: “Ballads from Poland and Bulgaria will stand out most”

There are a lot of ballads in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this year. Performed by a lot of girls as well. Our chief editor Steef van Gorkum, who is in Malta covering the contest for ESCDaily.com discuesses which ones stand out most.

“It is difficult to judge which ones are going to stand out, six or seven countries go into the same pool of votes. It is difficult to estimate which of these songs will do well. A couple will fall through. For me, right now, the vocals for Poland and Bulgaria are best, so they will stand out most. But I can not be certain.”

In today’s episode Van Gorkum also speaks his mind about the disappointing second rehearsal of Russia and the influence of the juries on the results, which are almost 100% settled after today.
