Destiny and Stefania: “Junior Eurovision great learning experience, but we are grown-ups now”

The EBU wants young artists to evolve from Junior Eurovision to the adult Eurovision Song Contest. This year, Destiny from Malta and Stefania from Greece are living that dream. “We have learned a lot from Junior Eurovision.”

“I learned there how important it is to work with the cameras,” Stefania states. “Performing for a tv-audience is really something you have to get used to.”

Destiny agrees, however, she remembers Junior Eurovision for its quirky moments, too. “We used to play and run around in the hotel at night after rehearsals. Nowadays, we cannot do that anymore. Adult Eurovision is much more serious, therefore we have to behave like adults now.”
