Cypriot broadcaster CyBC has confirmed that Eleni Foureira will represent Cyprus in the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. Her act will be staged by director Sacha Jean-Baptiste, who also formed the act for Kristian Kostov, who came in second place last year in Kiev for Bulgaria.
Eleni’s Eurovision song, ‘Fuego’, will be available in the coming weeks. As ESCDaily reported earlier: The Cypriot entry for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest will be composed by Alex Papaconstantinou, also known as Alex P. He co-wrote Marc Anthony’s Grammy Award-winning and Latin Billboard #1 song Vivir Mi Vida, the #1 Billboard Dance/Club song I Like How It Feels by Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez’s hit single Live It Up. Sacha Jean-Baptiste; the key to Kristian Kostov’s success
The staging of the entry has been assigned to the internationally acclaimed artistic director and choreographer Sacha Jean-Baptiste. She has extensive experience at the Eurovision Song Contest. Her best result to date is the second place for Kristian Kostov in 2017, with the Bulgarian song ‘Beautiful Mess’.
