Eurovision 2017: Host city decision delayed back to August 1st

The final decision about the host city of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 will be announced on Monday the 1st of August after all. Earlier this week, broadcaster NTU said they would make their decision public on Wednesday the 27th of July, but they have now gone back to the original date.

The decision will be broadcast live on UA:Pershiy. Wednesday they will air an special edition of “City Battle” once again, covering the latest news on the inspection of the three cities-finalists Kiev, Dnipro and Odessa.

Monday and Tuesday, a delegation of the European Broadcasting Union headed by Jon Ola Sand, together with the members of the Ukrainian organizing committee of the contest insected the city of Kiev (Monday), Dnipro and Odessa (Tuesday) on the level of their venues, infrastructure and hotels.
