Eurovision 2022 to be held in Turin, final on May 14th

The European Broadcasting Union has announced that Turin has been chosen as the host city for the Eurovision Song Contest 2022. The stadium PalaOlimpico has been selected as the venue. The two semi finals will take place on 10 and 12 May, with the grand final planned for Saturday May 14th.

The dates chosen are in line with the expectations, avoiding the finals of the European football competitions.

The Pala Alpitour stadium is the largest indoor stadium in Italy, with place for over 12,000 spectators. Watch the bid video of the city of Turin.
