Eurovision Song Contest wins Rose d’Or Award

The Eurovision Song Contest has won a Rose d’Or Award in the TV Entertainment Category. The contest of 2016 was honoured during the 55th edition of the awards in Berlin.

Previously the 2011 Eurovision Song Contest won a Rose d’Or Award in the Live Event category. Executive Producer of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Martin Österdahl, said “I’m happy for all team members who put in their best to make the 2016 event so memorable.”

Over 400 programmes from more than 130 broadcasters and production companies in 33 different countries were submitted for this year’s Rose d’Or Awards.
