Portugal: Finalists for “Festival da Canção” officially announced

The finalists of RTP’s “Festival da Canção” have officially been announced. Over the past week, 24 songs selected by RTP were subject to an online vote, where only the top twelve songs would advance to the televised national final. The voting closed last night, and the Portuguese broadcaster RTP have revealed the official result of the voting.

Below you can see the 12 finalists in ranking order from the online voting, with the amount of votes in brackets:

The Portuguese national final, “Festival da Canção” will take place on March 5th in Lisbon, and will be broadcast on RTP’s first channel. The result of the show will be decided by jury and televoting (at a 50/50 principle).
