Georgia confirms National Final for Eurovision 2020

Georgia have confirmed their participation in next year’s contest, as well as confirming Georgian Idol as their national final format for 2020.

Georgian broadcaster GPB will be competing at the 2020 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest which is set to be held in The Netherlands. Additionally, the broadcaster has confirmed that Georgian Idol will once again be used to select their representative, and it is likely that the song will be also selected through this format.

This year the Georgian representative was selected through this format, and as we know it was Oto Nemsadze who performed the song Sul Tsin Iare (Keep On Going) at Eurovision although failed to qualify to the final. More details on the next series of Georgian Idol will be released at a later date.
