Michael Schulte was born on 30th April 1990 in Dollerup, Germany. As a child, he attended a Danish school, where he graduated from in 2009, and then went onto complete his civil service. His musical career kicked off in 2008, when he would publish covers of songs onto his YouTube channel. Over his career he released numerous singles such as “Carry Me Home” and “Thoughts”.
In February, it was decided that Michael Schulte would represent Germany at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest after winning the German national final Unser Lied für Lissabon. Germany is a member of the Big Five and always has a direct place for the grand final, which will take place on the 12th of May.
