Germany: Xavier Naidoo to Stockholm, song chosen in February

Xavier Naidoo will represent Germany at the Eurovision Song Contest 2016. This news has been released by ARD and EBU this morning.

While the artist is chosen internally, Naidoo’s song will be chosen through a national final. This final takes place on February 18th, in a television show called ‘Unser Song Für Xavier’. Naidoo will perform six songs, after which one will be chosen by public vote as the German entry for Stockholm 2016.

Previous Eurovision winner Lena and two other music experts will provide their own opinion to the potential entries during the song selection, however the final choice will be made solely by the German tele-vote
