Greece 2018 – Gianna Terzi – Óneiró mou

Here you can find all the information for Greece at the Eurovision Song Contest 2018. Greece will be represented by Gianna Terzi and the song ‘Óneiró mou’.

Gianna (Yianna) Terzi was born on 7th May 1980 in Thessaloniki, Greece. Gianna began her music career at age 20 when she moved to Athens and released her first album Gyrna to kleidi. Two years later she released another album, Asa me na taxidepso, and later moved to the United States. Her father is famous Greek singer Paschalis Terzis.

Gianna entered into the Greek national final for this year’s Eurovision Song Contest and was one of the twenty shortlisted artists. The twenty then got whittled down to just five. These five would go on to participate in a televised national final, but two acts got disqualified, and a further two belonged to record labels who reportedly didn’t want to pay a large fee to the broadcaster, leaving Gianna as the only artist left in the competition.

Greece takes part in the second half of the first semi final on the 8th of May 2018.
