ESCDaily spoke to Stefania Liberakakis during JESC 2016 (she’s the girl on the left):
“Totally flabbergasted”
In an interview with the national Dutch broadcaster NOS, Liberakakis has expressed her surprise and enthusiasm. “I was like: get out of here… This can’t really be happening.” The 17-year old singer explains that she came in contact with the Greek broadcaster ERT during Junior Eurovision, when they found out that Stefania speaks Greek fluently. “They then asked me to perform in a tv-show, and earlier this year they invited me to audition for Eurovision with “Supergirl”. After I performed, they said: this is it.”
