SVT, the Swedish broadcaster has announced that Melodifestivalen 2011 ,which will take place in February next year, will be hosted by Marie Serneholt and Rickard Olsson.
The new hosts will follow in the footsteps of Måns Zelmerlöw, Christine Meltzer and Dolph Lundgren. Marie Serneholt has already been part of the Melodifestivalen experience before when she participated in 2009 with her song ‘Disconnect me’. Also has she been in the Swedish Eurovision Songcontest preview show panel.
Rickard Olsson is one of Sweden’s most experienced TV presenters. He has worked on Melodifestivalen before as well as the Second Chance in 2003, together with Marianne Rundström.
The new MF presenters will be joined every week by a mystery guest. A press conference has also taken place earlier today where the hosts give more comments about their presenting duties. The video can be watched here .
