Ireland: Brooke Wins Eurosong with ‘That’s Rich’

The Irish Eurovision selection is complete, with Brooke Scullion selected to fly the flag in Turin. She will perform ‘That’s Rich’ in the second semi-final on the 12th of May.

For the first time since 2015, Ireland held a national selection to choose their Eurovision act. ‘The Late Late Eurosong Special’ featured six artists. The voting consisted of a professional Irish jury, international jury and the public vote. In the event of a tie, the public vote would decide which act would go to Eurovision.

Here are the competing acts:

  1. Patrick O’Sullivan – “One Night, One Kiss, One Promise”
  2. Janet Grogan – “Ashes of Yesterday”
  3. Brendan Murray – “Real Love”
  4. Miles Graham – “Yeah, We’re Gonna Get Out It”
  5. Rachel Goode – “I’m Loving Me”
  6. Brooke – “That’s Rich”

The International jury allocated 12 points to Brooke, followed by Patrick O’Sullivan and Janet Grogan. The Irish in-studio jury allocated their top points to Janet Grogan, followed by Miles Graham and Brendan Murray.

The public vote favourite was Brooke, followed by Rachel Goode and Miles Graham.

With the points combined, Brooke emerged as the leader with 28 points. Janet Grogan and Miles Graham tied with 24 points.
