Israel: Izabo internally selected

Israeli broadcaster IBA has announced a 11 member IBA appointed committee internally selected Izabo to represent the country in Baku with the song ‘Time’.

The indie rock group is described as including high vocals, expressive Arab-flavoured guitar work, powerfully funky basslines with disco beats. Within Israel, the group has a reputation of being an energetic and absorbing live act. Their entry to Eurovision 2012 is titled ‘Time’ and is described as a pop song with an oriental influence.

The band is made up of; Ran Shem-Tov (vocals and guitar), Shiri Hadar (keyboards), Jonathan Levy (bass guitar) and Nir Mantzur (drums).
