The official video clip of this year’s Italian entry has been launched by eurovision.tv. Nina Zilli will officially sing ‘L’Amore è Femmina (Out Of Love)’ in Baku, which features a bilingual version of the title track of her latest album ‘L’Amore è Femmina’.
With the help of a jury, RAI internally selected Zilli during this year’s Sanremo festival. Her entry to the festival ‘Per Sempre’ was widely tipped to be the Italian entry in Baku, after reports the song would become bilingual, be rearranged into three minutes plus re-recorded. However, the song was swapped for the already three minute long ‘L’Amore è Femmina’.
In 2012 Italy will be represented by ‘L’Amore è Femmina (Out Of Love)’ in the Eurovision Song Contest final on May 26th in Baku.
