Italy only Big-5 country in second half of Eurovision final

Ermal Meta and Fabrizio Moro have drawn a spot in the second half of the Eurovision final. Italy was the only Big-5 country to get a second half place.

The running order draw took part at the press conferences instead of the Blue Carpet Ceremony. France, Germany, Spain and the United Kingdom all took out a spot in the first half of the show. Portugal had already drawn starting slot number eight.

Germany was very disappointed with his draw. He apologized to his head of delegation, who explicitly stated that he would have preferred otherwise.
