Italy will participate in the Eurovision Song Contest 2014. RAI has confirmed their presence in Copenhagen through their official Facebook page.
The Italian broadcaster writes: “Pack your luggage, book your tickets! Copenhagen, we’re going to be there! [The selection procedure for the Italian entry and the Rai broadcasting schedule of the Eurovision Song Contest will be announced at a later date]”
Italy has a direct place in the final on 10 may. They are the 32nd country to officially confirm participation for next year. In the next couple of days we will find out if Armenia, Azerbaijan, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia will ‘join us’ as well. Greece has received more time by the EBU to apply for the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.
