Jael Wena will represent Australia at Junior Eurovision

12-year old Melbourne-born singer Jael Wena will represent Australia at Junior Eurovision in Belarus in November.

Wena, who wrote her first song at the age of four, won the national quest Fast Track Talent Showcase for three years running.

Chosen by Head of the Australian Delegation Paul Clarke from Blink TV, she follows from previous entrants Isabella Clarke (2017), Alexa Curtis (2016) and Bella Paige (2015).

Joining her in Minsk will be ABC ME host Grace Koh, plus Pip Rasmussen and Lawrence Gunatilaka. Wena’s song for Junior Eurovision is yet to be revealed, but below you can see and hear her perform another song:
