Jan Smit is one of the four presenters of Eurovision 2021. In this article you can find more information about this professional singer.
Smit was born in 1985 and grew up in Volendam. He then scored his first hit at the age of only 10 years old. He has been a co-commentator at the Eurovision Song Contest for nine years. Since 2012, he hosted the AVROTROS television show “Beste Zangers”. The show received nominations for a Televizier-Ring in 2017 and 2019.

Jan Smit and the Schlagerchampions
As a singer, Jan is not only well known in the Netherlands, but also in other countries such as Belgium, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He is by far the most successful Dutch artist in Germany, reaching up to 12 million viewers with Schlagerchampions, Die Hüttenparty and Schlagerboom.
