Jeangu will present the video clip of his song in the Dutch talk show De Wereld Draait Door on Tuesday night. Macrooy was announced by broadcaster AVROTROS back in January. He is the successor of Dancan Laurence, the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest 2019 with the song ‘Arcade’.
The Netherlands had a terrible streak at Eurovision, not qualifying for the final between 2005 and 2012, but then changed to internal selections since 2013 and has been impressively succesful ever since. After winning in 2019, Jeangu Macrooy has a direct qualification for the grand final on May 16th for Eurovision 2020.
