Malta is getting ready to host the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest, and so are we! Host Broadcaster PBS has moved into the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta, the venue for the 2016 contest. This is the second time in three years that Malta will host the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.
In a change of format, the 14th edition of the competition will take place on a Sunday for the first time. The afternoon slot was chosen as it is considered to be family prime time viewing. The following countries will participate in the 2016 Junior Eurovision Song Contest in Malta:
