Kiev 2017: Portugal wins Eurovision for first time in history

Salvador Sobral from Portugal has won the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest with the song ‘Amar Pelos Dois’. Australia’s Isaiah Firebrace ended in ninth place, thanks to the jury vote. In the televote Australia only got two points.

In the upcoming days we will take a further look and analysis of the result. Behind Portugal we see Bulgaria in second place with Kristian Kostov’s ‘Beautiful Mess’ and Moldobva got their best result ever with ‘Hey Mamma’ by the Sunstroke Project. Belgium and Sweden complete the top 5 of the contest in Kiev.
