Stage designer Florian Wieder will once again create the stage for the Eurovision Song Contest in 2017. The experienced German has done so before in the past, creating the stages for the contests in Düsseldorf, Baku and Vienna in 2011, 2012 and 2015.
The 48-year old Wieder has also been responsible for staging X-Factor in the UK and America’s Got Talent, as well as several popular German tv-shows, like the German preselection ‘Deutschland sucht den Superstar’. More details on the theme and feeling of the stage will be revealed later in January, when the logo and slogan will be presented.

In other news the Pilot Travel Agency was chosen as the official travel agent of the Eurovision Song Contest 2017. Pilot will be the company to providing services to official delegations, press, the EBU representatives, sponsors and partners of the show coming to the capital of Ukraine in May 2017.
