[19:58] Hasse is on-stage performing some of his classics while holding a guitar. Now we’re with Clara as we find out tonight’s top five.

[19:52] Our hosts are back on stage and after Hasse and David share a hug on-stage. The first recap of tonight’s performers is shown.

#7 || Loreen || Statements

Closing the semi-finals is Eurovision winner Loreen who wears a flowing white, mini-dress while performing with backing dancers with flags and a dancer dressed in the black that lip-syncs to Loreen at the intro. Vocals are superb and crowd reaction is positive throughout. Should be a instant qualifier  but time will tell.

#6 || Sara Varga & Juha Mulari || Du får inte ändra på mig

This acoustic ballad track is performed by Sara and Juha who wear a white silk dress and a blue shirt with waistcoat respectively. Track is quite slow however it does add a nice dynamic in tonight’s line-up. Reaction suggests it shouldn’t be a main threat this evening however.

#5 || Axel Schylström || När ingen ser

Axel wears a white blazer with spandex black jeans while support with four backing dancers. Visuals consist of water. Track has an interesting beat and after low reaction from audience develops strongly.

#4 || Wiktoria || As I lay me down

One of tonight’s big fan favourites, Wiktoria is back performing the Agnes-inspired track “As I lay me down”. She is dressed in a violet flowing dress with visuals consisting of flowers drifting in the wind with the focus remaining on her. During the bridge she lays down on a hologram bed while flowers are made from her movements.

#3 || Les Gordons || Bound to fall

Les Gordon have a magenta hue over for the first verse while they are dressed in black suits as they sing their brit-pop styled track. Good to hear a different style of music genre however compared to the other competing entries, they should struggle to qualify.

[20:22] We’re now shown a VT of the three hosts in a canteen getting dissed by young Swedish females before we return to the next competitors.

#2 || Alice || Running with lions

Newcomer Alice is dressed in blue while gold light encapsulate her. Staging remains quite dark keeping the focus on her. Song sounds slightly outdated however still has a great composition and hook. Fireflies circle her during the bridge forming a lion on-top of the audience.

#1 || Jon Henrik Fjällgren feat. Aninia || En värld full av strider

We see the return of Jon Henrik performing in his trademark aboriginal style.  Jon and Aninia wears white flowing material while blue lights cascade the performance. Quite a ethereal performance with visuals adding rays of light shooting across the screen. Haunting and great entry to open the show.

[20:10] Hosts introduce tonight’s competitors with the crowd reacting the most for Wiktoria and Loreen. Next up, tonight’s first song!

[20:08] We are joined again by our hosts, Hasse, David and Clara who greet the audience enthusiastically and partake in a light bit of banter regarding last week’s show including Clara with Alcazar and David’s lick snog with Robin Bengtsson.

[20:05] The show has begun with a Hairspray parody VT sung of course by David Lindgren that transists onto the live stage.

[19:50] Return in ten minutes for the start of the Melodifestivalen: Semi-final four!
