TVM, the national broadcaster in Malta, have released a shortlist of 30 names for the Malta Eurovision Song Contest. The final will be held in February 2018.
129 songs were submitted to the broadcaster, which is down on previous years. Each of these 30, plus those who didn’t make it had to pay a 150 euro entry fee to submit their song.

Firelight
Richard Micallef represented Malta in the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest as a part of the band Firelight. Brooke took part in the Maltese preselection twice before. She came 2nd to Ira Losco in 2016 singing Golden, and 4th in 2017 singing Unstoppable. From the 2016 preselection there is Christabelle, she sang Kingdom and came 4th, in 2018 she will sing Taboo.
Finally Eleanor Cassar tries again. I thought she gave up on corrupt jurymembers as they never favoured her.
btw Richard Micallef IS a former participant as singer of Firelight (2014)
