The Big 5 has performed its running order draw at their press conferences today. France, Italy, Germany received a slot in the second half of the show. United Kingdom and Spain take place in the first half. Jeangu Macrooy from the Netherlands already knew he would perform 23rd in the Eurovision final.
The presenters perform the draw this year because of COVID-regulations. They wiggle the balls in the bowl, and the artist gets to say “stop”. The presenter then doublechecks whether the artist wants that particular ball, before revealing what’s inside. A complicated procedure, however it worked out well in the end.
Top favorites Barbara Pravi and Måneskin will be happy with their second half draw. The United Kingdom is rumoured as a potential show opener. It is a cheerful song, therefore “Embers” seems like a suitable song to get the party started. Blas from Spain will also perform in the first half of the show.
