Glamrock band Måneskin has won the Sanremo Music Festival 2021 with the song ‘Zitti e buoni’. They will be the Italian entry for Eurovision 2021 in Rotterdam.
As always, broadcaster RAI gives the winner of Sanremo the first option to go to the Eurovision Song Contest. The band decided to accept that invitation.
The field of 26 artists was narrowed down to three remaining acts for the super final in Italy. These three artsis were Ermal Meta, Måneskin and Francesca Michielin e Fedez. Two of them were at Eurovision before, Ermal in 2018 and Francesca in 2016. Ermal Mata was also front runner after the first two nights. Måneskin, however, will be the act that might go to Rotterdam.
