The prop in the Ukranian performance is not a coffin, but a piano. Singer Mélovin said this at his press conference. During the rehearsal, we could see Mélovin step out of the prop as if he rises from the dead.
This, however, is an incorrect interpretation according to the Ukranian youngster. “Everyone can have his or her own interpretation of course. But for me, the prop is not a coffin. It is a piano. And when I come out of it, I come alive as a musician.”
