Metal band Fatal Error wins A Dal quarter final before Kállay-Saunders

András Kállay-Saunders (photo above) has qualified for the semi finals of A Dal. His band The Middletonz finished in 3rd position in the second quarter final. The show was won by metal band Fatal Error.

Last year in Lisbon, Hungary took part with metalband AWS as their representative. This year it seems as though Fatal Error, a band from the same genre, will try to follow in their footsteps.

András Kállay-Saunders came 5th at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014. He tried to represent Hungary again several times since.

Ádám Szabó needs televote to qualify

The band yesyes, with lead singer Ádám Szabó, finished in 6th place in the jury vote which initially was not enough to qualify. The televoters, however, sent yesyes through to the semi finals at the end of the night.

Much like Ádám Szabós previous attempts, “Incomplete” is a powerballad with guitar influences. In this case the song also has interesting dubstep influences.
