Dutch broadcaster AVROTROS will announce the participant on behalf of The Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest 2017 early October. According to regional media outlet Omroep Brabant, girl band O’G3ne, who represented The Netherlands in 2007 at Junior Eurovision, have the best papers to go to Kiev.
Back in 2007, Lisa, Amy and Shelly just used their own names in stead of O’G3ne, the name that they started using during their victorious road in The Voice of Holland. You can watch a recent performance by the girls here:
AVROTROS Eurovision spokesperson Daniel Dekker says: “It is such a big difference, compared to the last couple of years. We were happy back then if we even got one big name to take part. We now have the luxury that several good artists have applied. We can make a strategic decision.”
