Netta Barzilai Israel Eurovision 2018

Host broadcaster KAN has announced the interval acts for the Eurovision Song Contest 2019. We are bound to see a lot of winners and runners-up at the contest in Tel Aviv.

Big names in the line-up include Eurovision winners Netta, Mans Zelmerlöw, Conchita Wurst and Dana International. Also taking the stage is the famous American superstar Madonna.

Netta to open the first Semi-Final

The first Semi-Final on 14 May will be opened by Netta with new version of her winning song Toy and a new single that she is expected to release at the end of April.

Conchita, Eleni Foureira, Måns Zelmerlöw and Verka Serduchka singer each others song

For the 2019 Eurovision Song Contest, the producers have come up with a very special collaboration between these four Eurovision stars in which the singers sing each other’s participating songs.

Conchita will sing Måns Zelmerlöw’s Heroes (Sweden 2015)
Måns Zelmerlöw will sing Eleni Foureira’s Fuego (Cyprus 2018)
Eleni Foureira will sing Verka Serduchka’s Dancing Lasha Tumbai (Ukraine 2007)
Verka Serduchka will perform Netta’s Toy (Israel 2018)

At the end all four artists will join Gali Atari on stage to perform Hallelujah (Israel 1979).

The remaining interval acts

Actress, model and superwoman Gal Gadot will be appearing in the Grand Final on 18 May, but in which capacity is still being kept under wraps by the production team.

1998 Eurovision Song Contest winner Dana International will take to the stage in the first Semi-Final and the Grand Final. The song that she will sing—still a surprise!—is being described as ‘powerful’.

Israeli singer-songwriter and musician Idan Raichel will be on stage during the Grand Final on 18 May with 24 singers and musicians, performing the song Bo’ee – Come to Me. At the end of the act, Idan will be joined on stage by all 26 finalists.

And in line with the theme of this year’s contest, Dare to Dream, Shalva, finalist of Israel’s national selection Rising Star, will perform the song Million Dreams in the second Semi-Final on Thursday 16 May.
