Norway, Australia and The Netherlands are the ones to watch today

Every morning in Daily Coffee we look ahead on the day to come in our podcast. Today gambler Rob Furber and Erik Bolks from OGAE The Netherlands talk about the first nine countries in the second semi final, that will have their first rehearsals today.

“I am not impressed with the quality in this second semi final, to be honest,” says Rob Furber. But if he has to make up his mind, Australia and Norway are the countries to watch out for today.

A former winner and former runner-up return to Eurovision

Not only Alexander Rybak is back today, and both Rob and Erik fancy his chances again this year. We also see Waylon, who was part of The Common Linnets in 2014 for The Netherlands, return. According to Dutch Erik Bolks, his country will not score as high this year. “There are a lot of rock influences in entries this year. There is tough competition for Waylon,” concludes Erik.
