One week after winning the Romanian national final Selectia Nationala with “De la capat”, the band Voltaj has decided to perform a bilingual version of their song at the Eurovision Song Contest in Vienna. The song will start in the Romanian language, and finish the last chorus in English.
The song is about Romanian migrants who had to leave their children behind, so to target that audience the band wants to sing in their own language. After requests and advice from several other people, they decided to also go for a short English part at the end of the song, so that whole Europe can understand its meaning.
